CARRYING OUT CORPORATE GOVERNANCE SURVEYS IN CORPORATIONS

We, at Entropy Corporate Governance, carry out corporate governance surveys in corporations (according to the existing categories within the Entropy Model). This survey assists our clients in two major aspects. The first aspect, the survey constitutes a management tool in the hands of the corporation’s board of directors and executive management in building corporate infrastructures and improving the corporation’s corporate governance based on its specific characteristics. The second aspect, the survey constitutes a tool to improve investors relations and increase their level of trust in the corporation and its management.

Within the framework of the survey, we examine the principles of corporate governance in a corporation, including aspects of controls, supervision and reporting in each of the categories listed in the Entropy Model of evaluating and assessing the quality of corporate governance. As such, we estimate the gaps, to the extent they exist, and provide recommendations aimed at reducing the risks associated with corporate governance, all in accordance with the activities and characteristics of the corporation, as well as customary rules in the field.

The advantages of conducting a corporate governance survey:

  • Improving market trust level – corporate governance constitutes a consideration taken into account by institutional investors prior to investing
  • Effective implementation and its adjustment to the characteristics of the corporation at a correct cost effectiveness ratio
  • Used as an internal management tool – accelerates processes within the corporation itself
  • A thorough examination of the quality of corporate governance in relation to competitors (benchmark, sector/index)
